Chord Melody

In the video lesson will show you how to take a jazz standard, Stella by Starlight, analyze the progression to understand where the chord progressions are coming from, and also create a chord melody arrangement. After going through this video and mastering the concepts you will be able to take most any standard from the Real Book and create a chord melody arrangement. This video includes neck diagrams in the PDF format. The video run time is approximately 34 minutes.
