    Hey Rick,
Love your videos. One thing you might have mentioned in episode 12 that I found interesting is that the closing guitar solo comes from three different sessions (of many) that Buckingham played over months and months of working on that song. The engineer, Ken Caillat, wrote a great book about the recording of Rumours and tells that story. He went through a bunch of Lindsey’s leads on tape and picked those three to splice together. To all who love your episodes, read Caillat’s book. It is really a cool behind the scenes look at the making of a great album, especially the time the band spent in Sausalito at The Record Plant.

Thanks again, Rick. Someday I hope you do an episode on one of my songs! Be nice!

Awesome! Really enjoy your vids! Fascinating!
I get hooked in on almost every video, even the songs or groups that i don’t care for are Fascinating. You are extremely Gifted and well trained! I especially liked your video on Bach! I need to revisit that actually. Check out the likes of Bruce Cockburn, if you haven’t already. Amazing Artist sounding off from a seriously pure perspective, and that is a very weak way to describe an unbeleivable music treasure found in this man and the body of his work. Thanks Take Care Paisan, and God bless. Keep up the great content!

Great video as always. To reference the first part, i can’t for the life of me understand what back in black is doing on that list, instead of more Zeppelin or any recordings with Bon Scott. Well again i guess it just shows what ppl know (or rather don’t know) about good quality music. I mean just look at the artificial shite that’s selling today.😒😒😎😎

Rick, at 14:12 it says Acoustic Guitar, not Accent.

Hello Mr. Beato. Thank you for your lessons. I’m not a musician but I noticed the following: On the 1:40 you say “so, the acoustic guitar start out like this” and then the video goes silence for 15 seconds from 1:40 to 1:55. Unless is my computer. But, again I thank you deeply. Learning, learning!!!

    HI Rick,
I’m enjoying your website. I was wondering if you give private lessons on studio recording and/or live recording.

From Mick Fleetwood’s drums to Lindsay Buckingham’s howling vocals and lead guitar, this is a damn near perfect track, soup to nuts. Thanks for the breakdown, Rick!

Tonight, Amazon Prime Originals presents: Harry Bosch Goes His Own Way, starring Titus Welliver.

All kidding aside (that was a complement, by the way), I am so d@mn glad I stumbled upon the musical Yoda that is Rick Beato — as someone else noted, this is why Gore invented the Interwebs. Well done and high marks through and through, Mr. Beato. Cheers!
